First of all, I love the grainy texture, it gives a dynamic quality of life to the drawing over all. The shading is excellent! The dragons are usually depicted as loners, but this view of dragons being a family group is very touching and I like the message that you are trying to get across. The emotions are strong too. I do have a couple of suggestions for you: 1) Try to soften your harder lines and shades, because it will help blend the little dragon into the overall drawing without over-doing it. And 2) Also, the background shading can be a tad darker that way the light from the little one's hand and 'choice' can show up better. This is a very impressive drawing, and I utterly enjoy it.
